WELCOME TO EMILY’S KITCHEN
Emily’s journey began when she moved from Mexico to the U.S. as a young woman determined to build a life rooted in hard work and purpose. She started her culinary career as a line cook at Rick’s Chophouse in downtown McKinney, Texas, eventually working her way up to head chef, kitchen manager, and director of the catering kitchen. Largely self-taught, Emily’s passion for food began early, taking a pastry course in high school and later pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Psychology with certifications in Strategic Leadership from Tecmilenio University.
Her commitment to growth extended beyond the kitchen, driven by a love for hospitality and creating unforgettable guest experiences. Alongside her career, she raised two daughters—one who joined the National Guard and another who graduated in 2025 and plans to attend a local college—proving that Emily’s story is one of grit, grace, and relentless dedication.
